In today's competitive marketplace, one needs as much as a bachelor's degree to have a decent job. The bachelor degree will be started with basic courses like science, English and math. When you complete around 60 credits, then you can pursue your major by taking appropriate classes. This is where your employer will reimburse you either fully or partially. A bachelor degree online is very similar to a degree that is done on campus. There is still the need for technological requirements, supplies and textbooks.

If the degree requires filed experience, you will have to work in conjunction with the school so times could be scheduled so that the field experience can be completed. Certain work for field experience can be done online like doing papers and reports and reporting to the field experience supervisor. If the degree is done fully online, then you will not have to worry about the above.

The major benefit is that the bachelor degree can be obtained while you continue to build up work experience and have some income coming in.
